Our NGO is fighting against the devastating effects of AIDS on the Kenyan society. We have offices in slums where some 30% of the population have HIV and support over 7'000 women and 1'700 orphans and vulnerable children. AIDS destroys the social fabric of our society by sickening or killing our mothers and fathers in their prime. The situation is genuinely unacceptable because prevention and treatment could be accessible to everybody.

We do not make a big difference between a volunteer and an intern ourselves. Both are offered work according to their merit. Both have to come here for at least a month and pay for their own expenses.
